A place to learn AI, without barriers
Lumos Learn is a free site made by Lumos Studio, for anyone who wants to understand and use artificial intelligence, starting with the first steps.
What you will find today
- One track, Beginner, level 1, with short lessons; each has a prompt to try, a mini quiz and the sources we started from.
- A library of ready-to-copy prompts, with the fields you fill in.
- A directory of AI tools, with the free plan, the price shown and the check date.
- A level quiz, no account: your score recommends a starting level.
The Business, Dev and School tracks, and levels 2 and 3, are in preparation and not published yet. There is no AI assistant on the site yet, and we are not promising an account or a chat with a date.
Who it is for
For anyone who wants to understand and use an AI assistant without a technical background. We start with those starting from zero; tracks for small businesses, for those who write code, and for pupils and teachers come next.
How we check what we write
- We write about a tool after reading its official page, not from hearsay, and we show the check date on each page.
- Lessons end with the sources we started from, each with the date we checked it, and the date of the last update.
- Prices and limits change often and differ from country to country: when you see an old date, treat the figures as indicative and open the official page.
- We are not paid to list a tool and we do not use AI to answer in our place in this version: what you read is written and reviewed by people.
Your data
There are no accounts. Your progress and choices (theme, language) stay in your browser. Details in the privacy policy. The one exception is the waiting list on the LearnOS page: if you sign up there, we keep your email address.
